The Twin Opportunities home was established to meet the needs of children in Georgia in unsafe and transitional situations. TO has established primary and annual goals to meet this purpose.

Primary Goals

Establish and maintain a system to continually improve the skill, morale, knowledge and efficacy of TO staff.

Maintain a family type setting where children can develop emotionally sound and secure.

Establish and maintain an array of quality assessment, treatment, counseling and social work service to meet the need of each child, regardless of severity of behavior.

Promote family preservation through facilitation the speedy return of children to their natural family whenever it is possible.

Provide children with increased capacity for meaningful relationships with peers, family and adults.

To maintain a healthy working relationship with the local community and to establish bonds with other private and public agencies in order to enhance the quality of service provided by TO.

The Twin Opportunities Home is an organization focused and committed to assisting boys in Georgia who have lost their parent(s) through death, have been abandoned, sexually, mentally or emotionally abused and/or neglected and to help them become upright, healthy and productive citizens.

Philosophy
The Twin Opportunities Home is a home established to teach boys how to become productive citizens in today’s society.
T.O. provides assistance on the belief that each child should be given the opportunity to live in a safe, loving and caring environment.
